Spring Thinking

March is finally here. Spring is starting to show it's signs, warmer days, the snow is gone And the days are longer.

Recent storms raise a little havoc, that most everybody survived fairly well. So now it's time to get to work, moving outside. We're looking at putting on those additions and decks. And after the recent storm how could we forget replacing roofs, siding, gutters and exterior trim. All these things are a little easier when the weather is more co-operative. But even when it's not, feel free to call us were still out there working to keep your home safe and secure.

The new EPA regulations about lead paint may make some of those jobs more challenging. Even replacing a window in a pre-1978 home, may mean extra precaution and expense. Keeping our children and loved ones safe from the dangers of lead paint dust, far outweighs the inconvenience and expense that exposure to lead dust can have on the health of family member. We will use every method available to us, to reduce any additional expenses and work in the safest manner in your home. This may mean testing before any work starts to ensure there is not a lead problem that needs to be addressed. Third-party testing will give us two things one knowledge as to whether or not lead is present and two a means to identify where and if extra health precautions will be necessary. .

To find out more about lead paint dust, visit the EPA website for the Remodel Right PDF brochure.
